How is organic cocoa grown?
Cocoa beans are actually the seeds of the cocoa pod or fruit and grow on a small tree. The organic cocoa beans is grown without chemical fertilizers or pesticides.
Alkalized or Dutch process is processed with alkali to cut acidity and darken the color of the cacao. We are offering cacao powder "natural" or Alkalized. We also use natural process cacao in our hot chocolates, coffee beans and our bars.
